Luca Sorgato is a film director born in Milan in 1985.
He writes and directs films with old people and old things.
His work is focused on the italian poet Attilio Lolini; a deep research, digging through his letters and newspapers, studying his original poems and novels.
His films have been presented and awarded by museums and festivals such as MOCAK in Krakow, Lamezia International Film Festival, Festival des Cinéma Différents et Expérimentaux de Paris, Laceno d’oro, Festival Cinema Zero, ShorTS International Film Festival and Torino Film Festival. In 2021 his film Sbadigli won best film at the Beijing International Short Film Festival.
His works are distributed by Collectif Jeune Cinéma.
